Und zum Schluss noch: die Bronzemedaille bei der U10-\u00d6M<\/strong>

<\/strong>Nach unserem \u00e4u\u00dferst erfolgreichen Finish in der Ost-Liga stand nun die \u00d6sterreichische Meisterschaft am Programm. Ausgetragen von 3. bis 5.Oktober am Hoppersfield in Traiskirchen und von den Gastgebern perfekt organisiert war die Erwartungshaltung schon h\u00f6her als in den Spielen zuvor. Als Mindes-Ziel hatten wir uns das Erreichen des Halbfinales vorgenommen, welches durch 2 deutliche Siege gegen Metrostars und Grasshoppers auch erreicht wurde. Das Halbfinale gegen die Firebirds aus Attnang-Puchheim wurde wie erwartet zum Thriller, diesmal jedoch mit dem besseren Ende f\u00fcr unsere Gegner – 8:9.
Im Spiel um Platz 3 bekamen wir es mit einem Gegner zu tun, gegen den wir in der laufenden Saison keinen Sieg eringen konnten: die Vienna Wanderers. Jedoch lie\u00df unser Team von Beginn weg keinen Zweifel aufkommen, wie wir die Saison beenden wollten – n\u00e4mlich mit einem SIEG! Und dass dieser mit 16:3 recht deutlich ausfiel, machte den Jubel noch lauter!
Am Ende gratulieren wir allen teilnehmenden Mannschaften zu einem gro\u00dfartigen und sportlich fairen Turnier und nat\u00fcrlich besonders den Gewinnern der heurigen \u00d6M, den Firebirds!

And finally: the bronze medal at the U10 Austrian Nationals!
After our super successful finish in the East League, it was time for the Austrian Championship. The tournament took place from October 3\u20135 at Hoppersfield in Traiskirchen, perfectly organized by our amazing hosts. Expectations were definitely higher this time than in the previous games.
Our minimum goal was to make it to the semifinals \u2014 and with two convincing wins against the Metrostars and the Grasshoppers, we did just that. The semifinal against the Firebirds from Attnang-Puchheim turned out to be the expected nail-biter, but unfortunately this time the better ending was on their side \u2014 8:9.
In the game for third place, we faced a team we hadn\u2019t managed to beat all season: the Vienna Wanderers. But right from the start, our team made it clear how we wanted to end the season \u2014 with a WIN! And the fact that we did it in style, with a solid 16:3 victory, made the celebration even sweeter!
In the end, we want to congratulate all the teams for a fantastic and fair tournament \u2014 and of course, a big shoutout to this year\u2019s champions, the Blue Bats!
